Thanks for the info. I did some research to understand impeller issue. Essentially, for HE top load washer, due to low level water usage, bottom clothes can be damaged. The remedy is use use extra water so bottom clothes can float to higher water level, but that defeats the purpose of HE.

Interesting, I moved from Agitator to impeller high capacity HE years ago and love it over the impeller. Had the opportunity to use some front loaders on vacation recently and was not a fan of them. I also feel like I hear/read a lot of complaints about front loaders with mildew and seals getting messed up. IDK, I'll have to buy a new set soonish, current one is starting to rust a bit after like 18 years, but a deal like this is tempting.
