Circle 360 is mainly useful for Target regulars who can take advantage of the free year and occasional perks. The membership can help with same day delivery and shipping, and grocery delivery through Shipt is described as workable. But the value is dragged down by high Target prices, limited availability, weak monthly freebies, and the fact that many orders still require Shipt tipping or a $35 minimum. The free offer may also carry a fee in some areas, so it feels most worthwhile only if you already shop Target often.
Target regulars who already fill a $35 cart, because the membership can make same-day delivery and shipping worthwhile when they shop there a lot.
It can be worth trying if you already shop at Target a lot, but many say it is not worth paying for. The main drawbacks are high Target prices, limited availability, monthly freebies that are often useless, and delivery benefits that still come with $35 minimums and tipping expectations.
Yes, many orders handled through Shipt still expect a tip, and some say orders may be deprioritized if you do not tip. That makes the delivery feel less free even when the membership removes the delivery fee.
Yes, same-day delivery is through Shipt. The practical catch is that it may still involve tipping, and some shoppers prefer in-store pickup because the delivery experience and fees do not always feel worthwhile.
A recurring Black Friday pattern is reported where a free year is offered if auto-renew is set up at the right time. Timing the account around Black Friday can let the membership roll into another free year without paying.
The part that burned me when I tried this was that the "free delivery" expects you to TIP. While I understand the tipping economy, they sell it as truly free delivery...not a delivery service (where tipping might be expected).
I'd rather pay $7 for delivery than get free delivery and be expected to tip $7.
I agree with many people here. Circle is not worth it for most people or maybe for all people. IMO, if they had more groceries like a full grocery store then it would be worth it
The same-day delivery maybe free with membership, but they always all ask for tips. All the deals are no longer deals after adding tips. I prefer to pick-up in store now since the store is not far away from my home. Actually, all home delivery, except Amazon, are asking a lot of tips even the delivery fee is free.
Every year for Black Friday they give away a free year if you set up auto renew. So, if you time it right, you can have your account start and end during Black Friday, and continue to get this for free every year. Without paying any money at all. It's really not worth it anyway. The shipping is no faster than if you don't have one of these accounts, and the "free" gifts that they give out every month don't even add up to the $99 that you would normally pay for this.

Target regulars who already fill a $35 cart, because the membership can make same-day delivery and shipping worthwhile when they shop there a lot.
Shoppers who want to try free grocery delivery, because the Shipt shoppers communicate well and the service can work smoothly for groceries.
In-store pickup shoppers who only want occasional delivery backup, because home delivery often adds tip requests that erase the value.
Deal hunters who can use monthly freebies quickly, because the good items can disappear within hours on the first day.
Households expecting truly free delivery, because many orders still require tipping and can be deprioritized without it.
Shoppers who only need a few groceries, because the $35 minimum and higher prices can make it hard to find enough value.
Anyone expecting the membership to pay for itself, because the monthly freebies and shipping perks may not add up to the usual annual cost.
People comparing it to a paid delivery service, because same-day delivery is just Shipt and the same shipping benefit already comes with RedCard.
