can we buy this and then pay $10 to upgrade for switch 2? making it $38 for the switch 2 version instead of the $50?
Any idea if the upgrade is worth it? I read about visual enhancements which I'm guessing aren't super important for this game but also saw something about additional content. Not sure if an extra is worth it. Either way just bought the game price history showed this was an all time low price

The upgrade pack isn't out yet, so there's no way to know. Personally, I've been using this on a Switch 2 and I haven't been bothered by the resolution or frame rate and I can't say I care about the camera functionality either.
I think the big thing for the upgrade pack will be the ability to take timing into account. This game is very generous/lenient with timing and I have seen comments that the first two were better in that regard. And I'm at the very least curious how the speed boost feature will shake out: there are some routines that I can definitely see benefiting from that, but others that are already very fast as it is. So hopefully that allows for some granular control.

Nintendo has the following to say about the Switch 2 version:
• Punch and dodge to the beat in the latest entry of the Fitness Boxing series, now with enhanced resolution and frame rate for the Nintendo Switch™ 2 system
• Play with an Advanced Scoring Mode that takes the timing of your hits into account, or use the Boost Up feature to gradually increase the speed of your workout with each round
• See your movements on screen with CameraPlay** support
• Share the game with anyone who has a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 system using GameShare*** via local wireless
Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star is $10 on nintendo digital store.
Thank you for posting this; I would love a physical copy but I was pretty unsure about the price tag. $10 for a similar (maybe better?) game and digital only feels quite alright so I am in for one of these I think
Edit: I've found a few sources stating that FOTNS has gone to as low as $5 so I think I am going to end up waiting longer - I am still very grateful for your post though!

FotNS is based on Fitness Boxing 2. So more annoying hit detection IIRC.
I recently bought this and started and it has surprisingly exceeded my expectations and you get a 'decent' cardio thing going on indoors. It's a little cheesy, but I think it's worth the $15. I will consider the $10 S2 upgrade in the near future.
