I believe I paid $670 in may for mine. The Gigabyte one was a little cheaper, but I own and like the hellhound 9070 non xt.
These were in the $800 range on Amazon earlier last month. Not telling you to hurry up and buy, but if this card goes lower than $650 this year I'll be surprised.

Then I hope you're ready to pay much higher prices because memory has gone up since all these current GPUs have been made

I ended up pulling the trigger on the $630 Reaper model they had on sale at MC the other week. Quite a upgrade from my old GTX 1060 😂

hmmm just picked up (haven't opened) an ASUS prime 9070 XT for $699. Aside from crummy customer support (ASUS one does come with an additional year of warranty), any marked difference between these cards?

IMHO Powercolor makes superior cards.

I have the Powercool HellHound 9070 XT, it was 759 on release day. So this is a good deal.

I had a lot of problems with drivers in the first 3 months, I chalk that up to buying on release day and them working out bugs. It probably shouldn't be that way but what can you do? I love this card though, it works great. I undervolt and the temps are always cool. If I wanted to I could set the voltage higher and eke out slightly more performance but it's not worth the heat and the stress on the card. Especially with everything getting so expensive, I want this card to last a while with my 5800x3d.

The Hellhound is a better card, the Prime series is like the Reaper, the lowest in the stack, should be under $650.
