Hardware unbox and RTINGS have ongoing "deliberate burn-in" tests and the newer generation of OLEDs are dramatically more resilient than one thinks. There are lots of variables but for most people with normal use these monitors are going tens and thousands of hours before showing burn-in issues.

However according to reviewers things are not as dire as we think. The consensus is that the upgrade from lcd is dramatic and its worth the 5-7 years of usage you can expect from most of these high end OLED's.
Also keep in mind that there are two different kinds of OLED panels in these monitors. Q-OLED manufactured by Samsung that has a purple tinge in darker environments (+ other pros and cons) and W-OLED manufactured my LG Electronics which has its own characteristics.
