It's SFF-ready but still a long card. If you have an older case make sure it fits.

How risky is an open box GPU from Amazon? Both in terms of functionality and in terms of me getting some fraudulent return?

I was able to get an order in but this is also the most I've spent on a graphics card... ever. Normally I buy the budget models.

Thank you for sharing, I bought it. The 12gb at this price point are very annoying but I'm not ready to spend 300 more for a few gb of memory. It should be a big upgrade from my 1070 anyway.

I know it's a late reply, and you likely have your answers. My experience with Amazon Open box for this specific card....The card was in brand new condition (plastic peels on it), not in the original box, did not come with the 12vhpwr to pcie adapter (no big deal in my case)
