The graphics are a nice refresh on the original and fit well with the current generation.
Combat is turn-based and does not require total immersion to do well. movement throughout the game is rapid, smooth, and does not have some of the turn based delays found in the Mario and Luigi and paper Mario RPG lines
The characters are adorable and engaging, and it is fun to play as Bowser and appreciate some of his quirkines
if you are looking for something challenging, this is probably not it. However, if you were looking for something relatively cute, cozy, and with familiar characters, this can appeal to gamers of many ages.
