Seems to be a good price, but they broke the game too much from the original by having normal attacks, if timed well, hit all enemies. Game is wayyyyy too easy, ruined gameplay.

Community Reviews

Super Mario RPG on Switch is a charming, short, and easygoing remake that keeps the original's appeal while adding smoother movement, responsive turn based combat, and timed inputs that can boost damage. The graphics feel refreshed, and the familiar characters and Bowser sections add to the cozy, playful tone. The main drawback is the much lower difficulty, with normal attacks and splash damage making the game feel far easier than the original, though boss rematches still add some challenge. The price also looks high versus recent sales in the $15 to $20 range.

Fun game and not a bad deal, although I do think I got it for less when I bought it a bit back.

I was just going to comment the same. I bought at that price as well as a few others for $15. A steal for Nintendo's high priced first party games

Just finished a 100% run through after not playing since the original 30+ years ago. Worth it at a lower price point but WAY easier than the OG. Was still a fun time and my girls first time watching it was quite happy.

Not a good price. This has been in the $15-20 range multiple times in the past year. People seem to keep mindlessly upvoting deals without knowing the price history, or perhaps just overvaluing the Nintendo IP.

Are thumbs up being bought now? This is definitely not a good deal, it has been lower than this even just last year it was $30. Yet this gets 80+ thumbs up?

Thanks for this tip/info. I will hold off. Did you see the $15 GameStop deal posted here in $D, or found it elsewhere? - thanks.
