Same staff poster, same deal from June 22. Important to repost all overpriced Klein deals as many times as possible

While I mostly agree in regards to useless robotic nature of staff posts. I don't see this a particularly "overpriced" even if it is often available at this price. Klein while their quality has been going downhill is still miles ahead of whatever Chinese junk you are seeing at cheaper prices from Milwuakee or whomever. Still I would generally just spend a little more and get a set from Vessel.

This is a pretty handy assortment. I use all of these at work frequently and they've preformed well. I don't prefer a long 3/16 flat head. That's an odd choice for this set.

I don't think Vessel makes a holding screwdriver. I do love their megadora line.

I don't know anything about Vessel (widely available and about $30 for a nice set). But if I did not already have a MORE than complete set of screwdrivers, I would buy the starter set from Wera (surprisingly only $35 direct from Wera https://www.walmart.com/ip/Wera-L...=102911862).

I have several Wera screwdrivers, and they actually are better than my BIFL Craftsman screwdrivers. Remember, all quality screwdrivers are made from some version of chrome vanadium steel, some with an S2 tool steel tip. Both of these wire steels are less than $1/pound. Cut the wire, forge the tip, stamp the flutes in the other end. Through-feed heat-treat and then quench. Automatic polishing, then plate and attach a plastic handle. Each step is fully automated. Very little labor. Total manufacturing cost, for even the absolute best screwdriver, is well under $0.25, probably between $0.03 and $0.08/each. The patent expired in the early 1400s, so the design royalties are probably modest

All can decide for themselves if the Klein screwdrivers are overpriced when the packaging and SD shill fees likely cost more than the product. How much extra would those here pay to be screwdriver fashionistas using matched black and yellow handles? Smilie
