These are great. Simple with large capacity and a few adjustable settings. Plus they've been around enough that u can get a heap replacement carafe, etc if needed.

Bought this just for the fact you can turn off the done beep. Its a little larger than the normal 12 cup pot.

Believe it or not, this was one of Consumer Reports highest rates drip coffee makers with a total score of 79 (a 3 way tie at 2nd place) and the #1 Bunn model @ $175 only scored one point higher at 80. The Cuisinart received a 5 out of 5 for "Brew Performance."

I paid $90 on sale at Macy's. It's a great coffee maker. It makes coffee faster and more delicious than my previous Cuisinart. Their "Perfect Temp" line of makers are some of the few machines that actually heat up to the correct temp to brew coffee.

This model makes a good cup of coffee. I've owned two. Just be aware that the burner plate rusts quickly, makes the unit look ugly and scratches the carafe. The Dcc 1200 12 cup is a better model, which is why it always costs more than this model.

IMO, this is the best Cuisinart coffeemaker. I'm on my second one. The first one only lasted about 3 years before the water tank corroded and leaked. Now I just fill it right before brewing and I'm on year 8. Almost thinking about grabbing this as a spare.

I just bought this exact same coffee maker last week because my other Cuisinart I had for 2 years bit the dust, but we make 2 pots a day every day. Going buy one for a backup for when this one dies because it's such a great deal.
