Having not played the original, the game is between 24 and 40 hours to beat.

If you average it to $30 hours, that's $1.80 an hour and not too bad imo. That's just my opinion though.

Well, I haven't played it, so just going off what I've read, but it sounds like it's more of a pirate adventure game than the history lesson/sci-fi crossover wrapped in stealth and dagger.

I played Mirage and it reminded me a lot of the original, atmosphere and setting. I haven't played Shadows, but it seems likely it's going to be quite stealthy. I only played a bit of Valhalla to be honest before I got a bit bored.

Lots of busy work. The game is pretty but feels empty. Theres no progression system, no skill tree.

Makes you spend lots of time slow sailing, resource hunting, ticking off dots on the map.
