This thing has lasted over a YEAR. I left it out even during the new england weather. It's been run over by my son's power wheel. I've smashed it with a lawn mower. Shredded it with my weedeater and it still comes on every night and zaps those bugs. This thing is 2026's nokia phone.

Don't buy bug zappers. They don't work on mosquitoes and kill the beneficial insects.

Got mine today, the nuts that hold in the solar panel screws were both not secured and then also misaligned. Already started the return process. Extremely cheap quality

No. Mosquitos are attacted to temperature, and cO2 - IE warm blooded mammals. Not UV lights.
Absolutely does work on Mosquitos, but not a strong affect for them. If it's the only light source near by, it will work.

Remember folks, this isn't really for mosquitoes, they need co2 for that.. which means constant cost and supply of that

this will prob just kill a lot of other bugs though (which may or may not be good, look into it)

Horrid for the environment. We need more insects not fewer. These also suck at dealing with mosquitos.

I've read many a take that these largely kill harmless, non-pest flying insects, and mosquitoes largely ignore them.

This will kill about 762,878,982 moths.
And perhaps 3 mosquitos.

So if you'd like to exterminate moths - go for it!
