We have to stop FRONTPAGE-ing these generic, ultra-cheap dropshipped clothes. It's pretty obvious there is UNFAIR SYSTEMATIC UPVOTING going on here to add these to the FRONTPAGE. These items cost pennies to make, and it's completely thrashing our FRONTPAGE. Do you want Aliexpress, Temu, Shein to show up in the FRONTPAGE?
Let's do our part to THUMBS DOWN, leave NEGATIVE FEEDBACK and NEVER BUY these blatant promos for profit. Hopefully, the MODS are with us, understand the justice, and BAN these manipulated generic brand listings from overtaking the FRONTPAGE.

What I'm more annoyed is how front page gets 8 new deals added before I get a chance scroll to bottom. I scroll up and refresh bam 5 more random "deals". Please stop making these ads front page, or seperate the front page from community posted deals of **actually comparable products** that shows its a good price for a pruduct.

That said, Front Page isn't based on moderators or staff picking deals because we personally like them or because they're more profitable. (The Bedjet would be on the Front Page every day if it was up to me, lol) It's driven by a combination of community engagement and our deal ranking systems. While these deals may not appeal to everyone, they do generate a lot of interest from other members, which is why you may see them perform well.
If you don't think a deal belongs on the Front Page, the best thing you can do is keep voting. Those votes really do matter, and they're a big part of what makes Slickdeals a community rather than just another deals website.
One thing I would ask is that this same message not be posted across multiple deal threads. Once it starts appearing repeatedly, it makes it harder for members to discuss the individual deal and starts to cross into spam territory. I chose not to remove your comments because I genuinely believe you're posting them out of concern for the community, and I'd rather take the opportunity to have the conversation than simply delete them.
We really do appreciate that you care about the quality of the Frontpage. We care about that too! We keep an eye on Front Page trends, member feedback, and the types of deals the community is responding to. We won't all have the same opinion on every deal, and that's okay. One person's "not for me" can be another person's great find, and that's one of the things that makes a community like ours work. Thanks again for taking the time to share your perspective.
