Just an FYI, I bought one of these in a "different brand" almost 2 yrs ago and it still has that strong plastic/rubber smell. But it does keep the food cold, I haven't tried it with hot foods.

It's about the right size to tote around my Dewalt portable grinder, so I'll try it. Otherwise, I guess I can use it as originally intended as an insulated bag (but I am really a homebody and seldom have use for such).
