Snode is supposed to pass the droptest so it's durable, but it only operates in 10lb increments. If that's okay I think they are great.
My issue with this and all the cradle type adjustable dumbbells is that any adjustments require you to go back to the cradle. Or if you want speed, you have to buy a rolling cart so you can recradle right in front of you. because I value dropsets, I went with the powerblocks when they went on sale @ w00t. you can put it down anywhere, adjust quickly and finish up. it's like a built in cradle.
