Buying these ACCENTUM Wireless Bluetooth Headphones was a huge headache and disappointment. The biggest problem is the volume. These headphones simply do not get loud enough. After a lot of back and forth with customer support, I had my first pair replaced, but the replacement pair was no louder. I even loaned them to several friends without telling them my opinion first, and every one of them came back with the same feedback: the volume is too low. At 100% volume, they sound more like 80% compared to just about every other pair of headphones I own. Before anyone says it's user error, no. I'll be 58 this August, and I've been a tech enthusiast for decades. I have a 100-inch mini LED TV, an RTX 5090 gaming PC, drive a Tesla, and own well over 10 pairs of wired and wireless headphones. I tested these on multiple devices, checked for firmware updates, and even searched Reddit and other forums looking for a hidden service menu or workaround. There isn't one. If you buy the ACCENTUM, don't expect powerful volume. You'll probably find yourself running them at 100% all the time, and movies, TV shows, music, and games will still sound quieter than they should. My other complaint is the fit. They're on the smaller side and feel too snug, especially during longer listening sessions. You've been warned.

Older internet reviews state that you cannot turn off ANC. Its either ON or "transparency" mode, there's some settings you can tweak in app to minimize, but this would be a deal breaker for me.

That's old news. You can now. Fully off, Transparency or ANC are the options.

Got it. Didn't like it. Returning.

Updated firmware.
  • Volume low on max as others online mentioned, even with absolute volume setting changed on Android.
  • On BT the voice sounds distant to the other end. Correct codec selected.
  • Not marketed as gaming, but on Windows 11 with dongle it auto switches profile to minimize non-voice volume so sound effects are distractingly quiet as voices lines are bumped and very loud in comparison. I know it's a feature, but I wasn't able to turn it off easily after googling.
