Samsung's HW Q990F is being praised as a top tier all in one home theater soundbar, especially for TV, movies, and music, with powerful bass and immersive sound right out of the box. It is described as outperforming several other sound bars, including pricier setups, and the current price around $798 is called a standout value. The main caution is that the Woot ZC version appears to be Canadian, which means no manufacturer warranty, and Samsung returns can be slow or frustrating. Firmware and wireless reliability concerns also come up, so it feels like a strong performer with some ownership risk.
Home theater fans wanting a single soundbar package for movies and music, because it sounds great right out of the box and outperforms several other systems.
TV viewers who want strong bass and surround effects, because the system delivers phenomenal sound and is described as an excellent setup for TV and films.
Audio buyers comparing premium setups, because it can outperform multiple higher-priced soundbars and subwoofer combinations.
Shoppers comfortable buying without leaning on warranty coverage, because the soundbar is described as inherently reliable and a fantastic price.
Owners who need dependable manufacturer support, because the Canadian version can lack manufacturer warranty and Samsung returns can be painful.
People who want long-term firmware stability, because Samsung soundbars can freeze, drop audio, or even brick after updates.
Buyers who need a trouble-free wireless home theater, because the wireless components are the most likely point of failure.
Listeners sensitive to bass artifacts, because one bass frequency can sound harsh and may be impossible to eliminate.

20 years ago I bought a 'Panasonic YSP-4100' unit that sold for over $1000 and looked amazong but it was stolen before I set it up.
Earlier this year Woot was selling this for $50 or $100 more.
I got at least half a dozen sound bars around my house, prices ranging anywhere from $100 to $1000 and all kinds of speaker and sub configurations, some with atmos. The Q990F absolutely puts everything I have to shame, including the sub.
At this price, what are you even doing? PTT (Pull the trigger).
