I was thinking the same if it's worth $14 for a keychain light? Dollar stores typically have a small keychain light which can be had for less than $2.

It's way better than those but since I'm cheap $10 is my threshold, I do have 2 that I bought on the Olight sale last year, they're great little lights!

Normal price, also if the magnet comes in close contact with credit cards, hotel room key cards etc, it will disable them and nuke the chip / strip.

I have 3 and it's solid especially for the size. But the new ones with usb-c and the folding protective cover look way better, and brighter too. Unless you need one I'd wait for a deal on those.

Not comparable. If you had one you'd understand, but the fit/finish on these is great, the way they're designed is perfect for keychain use - and the base of the light itself has a magnet so it can be stuck to things for hands free light.

That said... this isn't really a 'deal' - this 'sale' price has gradually crept up and up over the last year or so since I got mine

First time seeing/hearing of that (olight iUltra)... but it's also a $30 light. I'll keep an eye open for a deal on it I guess. Looks like it was $23.99 not long ago.

Thanks for the detail. I realized it a bit later after I commented; looks like i'll be looking out for a deal. Thanks

These are the handiest of handy mini torches. This is a typical deal price and somewhat normal price to pay. The new variety charges via USBC and is more expensive.

I bought the iUltra back in January for $26.99 and it came with a free i3E flashlight as a gift. The iUltra is just a bit brighter, but having the USB-C connector is worth it. I find the i3E to be brighter with a better projection than the iUltra and iMini. I keep the i3E on my keychain and the iUltra in the car.

Magnets will interfere/damage the strip on a card but not the RFID chip.

Honestly do not remember the last time I swiped a card (vs. tapping to pay).
