I really wish companies would stop calling these "box springs". It's a foundation.

I just bought this exact item about 3 weeks ago from another deal post (I believe) and this was my cost breakdown:
Item(s) Subtotal: $35.13
Shipping & Handling: $0.00
Total before tax: $35.13
Estimated tax to be collected: $2.81
Grand Total: $37.94

I finally got the chance to put it together on Sunday night and it is sturdy as hell once assembled. I've never used a box spring like this before so I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. Just don't expect the instructions to make a single bit of sense because the only labels on any of the parts were arrows pointing up so you know the alignment of the vertical pieces. All of the instructions assign letters to the parts so hopefully other buyers actually get theirs with labels because that mess made the assembly process take away longer than it should have. I like to think I'm pretty handy but I had to figure out the assembly as I went based off of the pictures and best guesses. I got lucky and only one snap together part was missing (it didn't really change the structural integrity in any kind of way so I just moved on).

Overall, I would absolutely buy one of these again but knowing what I was in for with solving this puzzle would have been nice to have in advance. Again, hopefully move was a fluke and other products have their appropriate labels.

Have you "wrestled" on it yet? Not sure how quiet this would be during an intense match, but I definitely need something like this.

I was honestly completely ready to WD-40 mine after someone commented about theirs squeaking on the last deal but I have 3 metal supports that go across the base of our bed already and it doesn't make a peep. Like, none at all. I also used my impact to appropriately tighten what few bolts hold it together and it fit fairly snuggly into the bed frame so that could have helped. But no, no squeaks or noises at all. It feels solid beyond what I would have expected

For some reason, a recycle fee of $18 was added. It really kills the deal.

good luck having any kind of fun on one of these, it is impossible to prevent squeaking/creaking and you'll never be stealthy again

Not my experience at all so far. Not a single noise to be heard on mine

I am wondering if I can replace the frame on this previous zinus bedframe https://a.co/d/0fnZOfQG with this base.
