Isn't this a new model? I have a smaller 200pl that can charge with solar up to 145 volts, which is great. But this is limited to 60 volts? Seems like an odd choice for a larger and (I believe) newer model.

Definitely a newer model. It looks even smaller than an Ac180 original model

Yes, this is a newer model that claims to except 1,200W Max from DC but also only accepts 2V–60V, 22A Max. Very strange. Hard to hit 1,200W with those limitations. Also, it's been cheaper than this multiple times recently

60V x 22 A is 1,320W > 1,200W

Try to find a panel combination in real life that will meet both limits and get you even close to that much wattage. It's very difficult if not impossible. In real life, you'll usually exceed one or the other limit well before you get close that wattage
