Imagine stuffing your minivan to the brim for a weekend camping trip, and finding out your stove doesn't work and you can't feed your family.
I got a Firefox Nano stainless steel stove. They're a bit pricey, but the stainless steel is really thick; it is what you are paying for. I've had a hellfire in this little thing, and it's never warped the stainless.
It makes an excellent pocket backup wood twig burning stove.
What makes it sweet is that they sell a little gas burner that clips into it.
They've had it modified with an adjustable air port for elevation.
So if you just need a twig burner, alcohol cup burner, or those cubes you can buy, for an emergency backup, I would go with it.
If you want a small burner, say, to use at the beach motel outside, I would just wait for Black Friday and pick up both the little Nano and their Firefox burner.
Yes, it's just a single burner; it's so much smaller and more versatile than just a dedicated gas burner.
