They may not be for everyone, but that doesn't make them an awful selection. All are very well reviewed on Steam.

Also, the bundle price is good as well - basically as long as you think you'll play two of them then the rest are "free".

Historic lows (including keyshop pricing):

Sea of Stars: Sunset Edition $10.85
TUNIC $10.78
Neon White $6.59
Police Simulator: Patrol Officers $4.81
Drop Duchy - Complete Edition $14.36
Sledders $2.64
Dicefolk $3.46
Our Adventurer Guild $2.64

Sea of stars and tunic are great, and worth the bundle at this price but sound off.

Community Reviews

This Humble Choice looks strongest for Sea of Stars, TUNIC, and Neon White, with the bundle leaning on a solid lineup rather than a single headliner. Sea of Stars gets praise for gorgeous visuals, a great score, and classic JRPG appeal, while TUNIC is called a must play for its puzzles and Zelda like feel. Neon White stands out as an addictive cult favorite with a strong soundtrack. The main caveat is fit, since Sea of Stars and TUNIC both draw some criticism for story or pacing, making the month best for anyone who still wants those games.

Common Questions (5)

  • TUNIC plays like an old Zelda-style adventure with tougher combat and puzzle-heavy progression, including manual-based clues and the Holy Cross mechanic. The main complaints are that enemy respawns can make healing feel like a loop, and some players find the combat, world, or pacing tedious.

    CalmPenguin123wherestheanykeywithalligatorsmtuwolverine

  • It can still be worth it if you want at least two of the included games, since the bundle price is effectively covered once you'd buy a couple separately. It is especially attractive for people missing Sea of Stars, TUNIC, or Neon White, but less compelling if you already own those on another platform.

    EragornkoolaiddadStarboyKDgaart

  • Yes. Sea of Stars and TUNIC are the standout picks in the lineup, and both are described as worth the bundle price on their own; Neon White is also repeatedly singled out as a must-play or cult classic.

    VegaTheChosenroomvYambotsu2themaxium

  • Sea of Stars is praised for its gorgeous environments, strong music, and retro SNES-style JRPG feel, and many find it excellent overall. A recurring caveat is that the story and gameplay may not land for everyone, so it is strongest for players who value presentation and classic JRPG vibes.

    CalmPenguin123ryand7651Mr-BlisterCleverGorilla819

  • Yes. It is described as a must-play, an underrated cult classic, and a game with an addictive speedrunning loop and strong soundtrack; there is also a SteamVR mod for players who want to try it in VR, though it can cause motion sickness.

Most of these games are really good. instead of 1 headliner that most people already have we got an actual solid selection of games most people don't have

I picked up Choice last month and thought I would cancel this month. I am glad I didn't. Sea of Stars, Tunic and Neon White were all on my wish list. Perfect month for me. Yay!

Sea of Stars, Tunic, and Neon White have been on my Steam wishlist for ages. Was waiting to hit up the summer sale until the new Choice dropped - super glad I waited!

Police Simulator? No thanks, I'm good.
Police simulator looks really good! Its probably the most polished uniformed police officer game.

I just wish the precinct was also included in this month. That would have been the ultimate bundle.

Sea of Stars has gorgeous environments and a fantastic score, but drops the ball hard on the narrative and gameplay. It's at best a 6/10, with most of that number relying on said pixel art and music.

Tunic is pretty great though.

I think this would have been a pretty good bundle a year ago, but they have been available via Game Pass since their release and Tunic has been given away before on other platforms I believe, so getting them is entirely dependent on whether you've avoided them until now.
