I always feel skeptical about openbox computers. Any opinions?

I ended up grabbing a Zenbook S16 from the last go around of clearances. Was "Good" condition and came without a scratch or ding and runs flawless. But I've also had an Open Box "Excellent" condition Legion Go 2 arrive it atrocious packaging and missing accessories. Difference is that I grabbed the ASUS local and the Legion Go 2 I got through the mail. If i were you, I'd check them out in person to see the condition and choose which one is best if they have more than one.

Don't bother. They're checked by some geek squad member for about 30s and put for resale. Consider it damaged in some way.

I also picked up the zenbook s16 in good condition, it was like brand new complete with charger. Great deal! It's a hit or miss with Best Buy. I usually roll the dice and see what the condition will end up. Keep or return lol

Not always true. I just picked up an open box Asus Zephyrus G14 in "good" condition from Best Buy and it was flawless. Saved almost $800. Not a scratch anywhere and no issues with anything. Probably got lucky. I have to admit I was a bit worried it might be beat it up. I do recommend getting the best buy plus membership if you're going to be buying something pricey as you get 60 days to return instead of the normal 15 days.

I should add that I picked up the laptop locally. I also asked them to open the box and check it out first to make sure everything was there. I don't know if this is true but I've heard items marked "good" condition are usually inspected more than the ones that are "excellent". I'm guessing that "excellent" means the return happened right away and they don't always inspect them thoroughly.
