0.97c scissor from Walmart does more than adequate job at cutting chicken even with bones. You can get a peeler of your choice separately for couple of dollars or so.

Looks handy, but a personal deal-breaker for kitchen scissors, specifically, is that they don't disassemble into two separate blades.

Separate blades make for easier sharpening and _much_ more effective cleaning & drying. I feel like I'd have to toss those after disassembling my first raw chicken with them - the hinge being a handy little incubator for all sorts of baddie bacteria.
