Keep in mind this unit like other portable acs is heavy at 50+ pounds. It'll be a pain to return, especially if your car doesn't have a big trunk if it's missing parts or has an error code.

Got mine a few months ago, my bedroom is CRISP in this heatwave, love it - glad I got one that works.

You can schedule a usps pickup up to for free. Not sure if midea uses USPS or FedEx for returns. Last time I scheduled a FedEx pickup it was $10. That said, returning any heavy item whether purchased from the store or online would be the same issue.

I bought a Midea refurb from Walmart 6 weeks ago. Only had a 30-day return with Wal-mart. It started throwing an error code and won't work. Called Midea, they created a ticket and I emailed pics of the error, proof of purchase, etc. 9 days ago and still haven't heard a word. Don't think I'd buy a refurb from them again.

I was one of the people that got it for $210. It was delivered upside down in a fairly beat up box but it works absolutely perfect. It's better than the 2 Whynter 14000 btu units I own

If it does not meet the eBay conditions of a "Certified Refurbished", can it be returned if not clean, broken, pristine condition... with eBay/Seller paying for the return? A LOT of complaints with the seller. It seems to get any issue resolved requires days/weeks of emailing then ultimately getting eBay involved.

"We've verified that this item has been inspected, tested and cleaned by a qualified refurbisher.
Appearance: Pristine, like-new condition.
Performance: Works like new, meets the manufacturer's specifications.
Warranty: Two-year warranty serviced by Allstate."
Packaging: Comes in new, generic packaging with original or new accessories (if applicable).
