After September it'll be $500+ tax for just the system. If you get 20% off (and assuming not limited) that's $600 for $480. Assuming roughly the same tax that's $480 for Switch 2 and 1 game. Save $45 but get 1 fewer game.
Decent chance the sales dip after the price hike like they did in Japan and your able to couple a Switch 2 sale in the fall with a few Newegg eshop sales.
Why do I hear Monty Hall in my head??? 😄
They have it for $168 for a $200 gift card (-16%)
$50 for 40.25 (-19.5%)
$50 for 44.44 (-12.1%)
$50 for 42.50 (-15.0%)
So the current one (-12.5%) isn't the worst, but it can be better.
