Got 2 of these a while back when they were 37 each. Paired in stereo on a trip this summer and sounds quite good that way especially if you are close by and they are spread apart. Individually not as good as my flip 5 which just bit the dust.

Wish you could pair in stereo and let someone else take over streaming from their phone, but each device needs the lg app and connect that way to keep stereo. Linking is easier but doesn't sound nearly as good without stereo sound.

After reading through the comments, I think I'll pass. It sounds like the speaker is decent, but nothing that really stands out at this price. There are too many proven options from JBL, Soundcore, and Tribit that frequently go on sale for similar money.

Compared to the jbl flip 5 I had it's more neutral with the treble slightly veiled. But outdoors it has a full sound and decent bass. I'd recommend getting 2 at that price as in stereo I like it a lot (attached to golf cart especially).

Sound quality is really bad and mediocre for those wondering. Get the Flip 7 instead. I know it's expensive but Buy once cry once

Last year, I got one free as a promo when I bought a 77 inch OLED from direct from LG. Pretty good speaker and I have three Bose. My oldest Bose, which is the one that's like a book is still the best one.
