  • Multi-purpose adapter makes the sockets compatible with the KNECT(S) system, Klein Tools Pass Through Socket Wrench (Model 65300) and any 1/4-Inch square drive ratchet
  • The Klein KNECT Starter Set consists of two impact flip sockets, six impact pass through sockets, five adapters / extensions and six chicklet bits

Does anyone have experience with these? Klein tools are usually very good , but haven't tried these.

Like all Klein Modbox stuff, it's good quality, but made in Taiwan, not USA (still great stuff). Reminder that this is SAE and not metric. They need to come up with a sub-$40 kit that includes metric and SAE to get a bigger bite of market share. That said, I really do wonder about the folks on this site saying "SAE is dead" that live in the USA. SAE is not dead. If your in general construction, electrical or aviation fields, you know what I mean. I think for the vast majority of folks in just Automotive or DIY'ers putting together Amazon stuff, they just don't encounter SAE anymore and think it's obsolete. If you think that way, do yourself a favor and ask the next GC or Electrician if they feel that way, you'll be in for a surprise...and guess who Klein targets with the tools they make? 😀

Slickdeals seem to be pushing these ratchet and socket sets hard, I see em over and over again. Klein is an excellent brand and if these were metric I would get them . Imo this is a better deal than the standalone klein passthru ratchets that also get posted frequently. The passthru sockets are proprietary and I don't believe Klein sells the sockets separately Frown . The ratchet can use regular non passthru sockets though but that defeats the coolest feature of it.

I have the full 39 piece set and I love them. So great and use them all the time. The 39 pc set is pricey for what it is so I'm waiting for price to drop before I get another as backup.
