I used to love Five Guys and started going there about 15 years ago. The last time I went (and it's been a year +) it was $30+ for two burgers and two fires. The price has gone up since then, to almost $40 for the same thing.

I know it can vary by store, but that's just too much for my casual burger dining. There are many reasons for it, but the net effect is that I won't pay that, even with a free small fries included.

Ohio. $ 10.39 large burger, $ 7.99 hot dog. The hot dogs are big, sliced in half. Very good hot dogs. The large burger is excellent. Both Uber Eats and Door Dash charge close to $ 15 for the burger. Big markup there.

In my area the burgers are $11. With fries normally around $5, even without a drink you're looking at $16+ at Five Guys vs a Butterburger Deluxe (Double) meal at Culver's for $13 (unless you opt for the cheese curds that are well worth it).

Normally I think you get better value from Culvers but it's nice to mix it up. $11 for a burger and fries at Five Guys is much more reasonable.
