This is not true. Like the Democratic Party either you knowledge is inadequate or you insight is lacking. If you took the time and made the effort to actually read the on site description you would see "Gift cards like the Southwest Airlines one and any associated bonus cards are typically redeemable for flights, seat upgrades, and sometimes extra travel-related services within the airline's offerings." Southwest limits you to 3 payment methods so the additional gift card is a worse deal than a straight discount or a $550 gift card for $500.

This is true. I've been pricing a trip in October for a while now and it's constantly been pretty high, but maybe that's the new norm now with all airlines. I've been comparing them with United and noticed that when one goes up or down a few dollars for the flight, the other is matching. I'm not sure who goes first and who follows though.

This does suck. If you have second trip planned then not that big of a deal, but i wish they would allow more payment methods. Also sucks that for travel vouchers, each one you apply will count as 1 payment method.
