The main features you're paying for with these models are in the dock. The auto-emptying bins and mopping features are really nice. I've tried a variety of different robot vacs over the years and having to empty the dust bins after every clean gets old. With the dock I just change out the bag once every month or two.

If you have hard floors the mopping is a pretty fantastic feature as well. I have it mop my floors 2x a week and it keeps them pretty much spotless. I have a non-dock model in my basement and I've been considering upgrading to a dock model down there as well just because of the convenience.
