Copying and pasting the instructions from the main post is not helping someone. It's quite condescending and unhelpful I might say. I followed the instructions as directed in the main post, and got the error. I tried different devices, with the same results. ...Not a biggie

most people who shop for these deals on meh.com that are posted here overlook the directions or simply don't read them. this is a common occurrence on all posts relating to meh.com - go look at other posts and read the comments. i just tried the deal right now on phone web browser and also desktop at 6:55pm PST and the code works fine and it's discounted.

The instructions leave a lot to be desired. I'm not saying they are incorrect or poorly written. But they don't capture all use cases. I almost gave up after spending 10 minutes repeatedly trying the directions word-for-word and also making minor adjustments.

For anyone receiving "This coupon code is not valid", one alternative is to try to reduce the impact of things like ad-blockers and alternate browser containers/profiles. I was able to get the FSDEALS code to work after using an private/incogneto window.
  1. Copy the hyperlink for the deal that is in the original post.
  2. Launch a private/incogneto browser.
  3. Paste the hyperlink from you clipboard into the address bar of your private browser window. (This should be a long, ugly link. You can double-check by pasting the link into a small memo or notepad type app.)
  4. Proceed to follow the directions from the original post.
I use Firefox, and have certain sites automatically open up in a separate "shopping" container. I suspect that was the root of my issue. Incogneto/private browser windows often sidestep those QoL and safety improvements.
