AdGuard Family is a system level ad blocker that works especially well on Android and on PCs, with long term use tied to smoother app browsing and a cleaner experience. It also works well in browsers like Firefox and Chrome, where YouTube ads can disappear. The main limitation is YouTube app and streaming device ads, since DNS based blocking does not catch ads served directly by YouTube. Email delivery and the Windows trial setup also felt slower and shorter than expected, and Android activation caused an internet connection issue for one setup.

  • AdGuard can make Android app browsing feel smoother after long-term use.

  • AdGuard can improve Android ad blocking by working as a system-level adblocker.

  • AdGuard Home can reduce YouTube ads in some browser scenarios like Firefox.

    EfficientGalley297

  • AdGuard DNS can remove YouTube ads when using the YouTube website in Chrome.

    Tweak155

  • AdGuard Home may not block YouTube ads on an LG TV because ads come directly from youtube.com.

  • AdGuard DNS may not stop YouTube ads inside the iPad YouTube app.

    Tweak155

  • AdGuard registration and trial timing can be confusing when the email code arrives late and the dashboard shows a shorter trial.

  • AdGuard can cause internet connectivity issues on Android after activating the license.

Probably not. I have Adguard Home and I still get Youtube ads on my LG TV. Youtube ads come directly from youtube.com is why you can't block YT ads.

Although, I actually never see YT ads on browsers like Firefox.

You can block them with extensions like uBlock Origin. I just wish there was an easy way to do it outside of just web browsers.

It's been lower on that web site where the social stacks, if you know what I mean.
