Does this depend on location? Near me I can only order online and it's $40 for a 3lbs x 2.

I was going to say the same thing. If you have access to a Costco then chia seeds from there seem like a much better deal.

What all do y'all put chia seeds in? Looking for ideas. So far I really only add them to yogurt cups.

Soak in water overnight with lemon. I start every morning with chia lemon water. 2 tablespoons have 40% of your daily fiber and 4 grams of protein.

also can add to protein shakes, smoothies, oatmeal, yogurt,

I make chia pudding in the fridge overnight. Oat milk (or whatever you prefer), chia seeds, sugar or other preferred sweetener if you want it sweet. Shake it up before putting it in, and maybe again an hour later. 1 cup milk for each 1/4 cup seeds. Also look up other variations. Super simple.

I add them into homemade (bread machine) bread for some extra fiber. It also adds a great texture.
