Anyone able to vouch for these? I've been noticing a lot of WiFi 7 routers on sale now, when they used to be close to $500-1000. Something happen recently that's causing these to drop in price?

The hottest newest things is quad-band, all these deals your seeing is just tri-band.
Both my niece and I have these. I would not recommend. My system has gone down randomly multiple times where I had to factory reset and re set up everything. My niece's went out (most likely with the same issues I had) and she had to send it in for warranty service.
They're nice when they work but the reliability is subpar imo.
I tried setting these up today. They were a nightmare and when all was said and done. Even after it was all finally configured, one of the nodes dropped out. I had to reset the system and start from scratch 2 times. The app is terrible. While I appreciate the web interface, it can be slow and clunky. I got some good speeds and low latency when in proximity of a node, but when the leaf node dropped out and I had to reconfigure, I was done. I don't need another tech headache. I bought this to see if was better than the TPLink Deco BE25 system. While it's not quite as robust, the Deco is stable and fast with a better and more responsive app. I wish it had a proper web interface, but it's far more flexible than Eero. I'm not in the mood for Ubiquiti. I just sold my CGU as it too was a chore.
