Not a SD IMO, pretty much always this price. That said if you haven't tried pressed coffee go for it, just make sure to make what you will immediately use as any remaining in the container with the pressed grounds will get nasty strong. Denmark made Bodrum is a great choice, we always reach for it to go with a nice dessert making for a special finish to a nice meal.

I have this exact same french press. It's cheaply built and the main stem it connected with crappy plastic part that broke off with very little force. I reached out to Bodum for warranty replacement and they just ignored it. I'd never spend money on Bodum products ever again.
