I switched to the pro air from callaway chrome soft. They play just as good. Oh by the way I'm a single digit handicap.

As a 20 handicap the Vice balls do just fine for me. Right on par with the Callaway, Bridgestone, etc. I'm not good enough for the balls to have an impact.

I just started playing last year so I'm hovering in the low 20s. I wouldn't use these though, don't think I hit the ball well enough to benefit from them. I game whatever's cheapesr.

My only qualm with Vice balls is that the outer shell scuff really well. Whether it's an issue with the material or it's just a paint problem, these balls look horrible after a few holes.

The pro and pro plus are actually good. Not Pro-V1 level, or even Srixon Z-Star and Bridgestone Tour B series... but I'd put them on par with Callaway's and maybe Taylormade's tour level balls (though I it's been a couple years since I've tried those... I hear they're better now).

If I see Vice on a good enough sale and in a color that's not too ridiculous, I play them on occasion. But yeah, there's better options out there if you need it. I'm a 6hcp, so ball choice does matter to me... but it's not a huge difference maker in my game.

Not just lost in the air, but any shade of blue or green would be terrible visibility in the grass. Not sure why those would even be an option.
