I had an IH Zojirushi before this and it was nothing but problems. The settings drifted over time and so rice would go bad quickly, their warranty team said it was within spec when it was sent in and yet I went from being able to store rice for two days to just a few hours. It was a fairly common issue, too. Tried another from the brand without IH and the build quality was horrendous (that was a Chinese built unit).
Didn't know what to expect with this Cuckoo, but I'm definitely buying again when needed.
