So basically along with releasing it for ps5 they opened brand new dedicated servers to stop cheating and encourage more players to join. Based on the hype and nostalgia, I would say there will be plenty of people playing this especially before gta 6 releases.

Yes it requires ps plus for online multiplayer which is insane because like you said this wasn't a problem back then.

bo2 is harder than I remember, just got wiped on zombies on like round 4 on buried. that said, the game is playing beautifully, as it should. im on ps5 pro
