Took one (not this one) to Europe during epic heat wave. It does help but not life changing. Also the one I bought had a short press to turn it on. That is a recipe for the thing turning on all the time in a day bag or luggage home.

I've used this type of fan for a while, although not this exact model. They all seem pretty similar. It's basically designed to blow air underneath your clothes, which is why it has a dual clip. It's great for mowing the lawn or doing outdoor work, but it's definitely not a quiet fan. It sounds like a Dyson hair dryer, and probably everyone nearby can hear it. But it usually lasts much longer than a typical handheld fan and blows a strong, concentrated stream of air

The issue is the bottom sucking your shirt and clogging it or your shirt blowing out so its no longer under your shirt. If your stationary its fine but if youre moving a lot its okay. Of youre moving around the neck fan if better but less compact if you need to store it. This can be clipped on the waist or thrown in a sling bag

This one isn't setup well as they should have a 2nd clip on the other side. What you do is clip it to your waistband/belt then you tuck your shirt into the clip on the other side so it blows air up your shirt.

This does have an upside-down clip on the other side for your shirt.
