I love the smell of a wire brush cleaning brake calipers in the morning, although this one looks a little thin

Why 3x as much?
Not the same quality
• bristle length are longer - reaches corners and crevice better
• handle is better made - tip is also angled for better reach
• green handle is cool and easier to find
• stainless steel bristles vs brass

However, the small brush from HF may provide some advantage in certain uses.
Having both sets for various uses would be ideal.

Agree to disagree on a few of these. The HF kit comes with steel, brass, and nylon brushes. I do like the tip angle on the linked deal.

I'm glad brake pads are no longer asbestos.

The only place on the caliper that needs cleaning is where the metal clips sit.

Try using it and you will know why ... those bristles bend and after 1-2 uses it's now useless
