buying at $100+ for a mouse, not sure is it worth anyway. i had Master 2S bought below $50 few years back from lenovo and it works great.
recently bought Master 3S from Logi eBay store - refurb + excellent + 2 yr warranty - around $50. for my daily full day usage, i see 2S is much better fits/works than smaller shape 3S. but 3S have additional advantages but i never really need all times (scrolling sound, customizable horiz. scroll wheel etc..), so not sure what extra i get with this 4 version, which is useful on a daily basis.
Overall Lenovo sells Logi devices at lower prices at diff times.

I've personally gone through at least 6 MX Masters of different versions. I get them from my company. The left button always goes out. I love them but the button micro switches are crap.
Mine JUST stopped working on me this morning. Have had it for 5 years. Gonna try to Open it up and see if I can fix it... But otherwise will be looking at the 4.
I'm here because my Master 3S left click button is failing and I need to buy a new mouse.
It has seen pretty heavy daily usage Mon-Fri for work since I bought it in December 2023 but it is disappointing to see how common the problem is with no support from Logitech for a known issue with a premium mouse at this price point.
Some caveats about this mouse:
1. Refresh rate is capped at 125hz even with the dongle. Cursor will look choppy if using with a high refresh rate monitor. Many other mice at half the price support 1000hz refresh rates.
2. It does not have on board memory. You need to install their bloatware and keep it running in the background if you want to customize any of the buttons. For a productivity focused mouse, that sucks because many employers have strict policies about installing 3p software on company provided laptops

I have used the MX Master 2, 3, 3S. I bought and returned the 4 and bought a new 3S.
The 4 has a new texture which is extremely slippery despite the "rumble strip" texture. Part of a good mouse is being able to quickly pick up the mouse to reposition it on your work space, and it is hard to do it with the MX 4 new texture.
