This 13 inch MacBook Air M5 deal stands out as a strong price on the 16GB and 512GB configuration, especially with Apple price increases making the same class of machine cost more elsewhere. The base specs are described as finally sensible, and the 1TB version at $1049 gives a clear upgrade reference if more storage matters. Price matching has also worked through chat and customer service, which helped bring earlier purchases down to the ad price. Stock has been inconsistent across colors, and a few orders later showed back ordered, cancelled, or out of stock.
The $849 512GB configuration can be price-matched through retailer chat within a short window.
Customer service can adjust the MacBook Air M5 13-inch price to match the weekly ad amount.
The deal can be improved by upgrading to a 1TB SSD configuration for a known incremental cost.
Storage expansion is possible using external Thunderbolt 4 NVMe drives with substantial transfer speeds.
The $849 price may be tied to limited inventory, since multiple colors and variants go in and out of stock.
Stock availability can change quickly, with orders later showing back ordered status after fulfillment.
Some orders can be cancelled after the item is marked out of stock about a week later.
The configuration may feel less future-proof for some buyers because 24GB RAM is preferred over 16GB.

Thanks. You saved me $100 for I had already bought two of them and chat refunded me $50 each. Also, thanks for the iPad head's up. I'll save another $20 there when I have them retroactively price match.
If anyone cares, the 13" M5 16/1TB config in Sky Blue is in stock right at this moment:
