3/8 is bizarre most impact wrenches doing anything heavy duty would be 1/2 inch (or more but uncommon). I can see using an adapter to make this .5 for an impact wrench but the thought makes me cringe.

You wouldn't be using an impact wrench for this. Its for digging small holes in soil. I use some old wood auger bits for drilling out broadleaf weeds in the yard - pulls up the weed root and the leaves.

Why would you use a impact to drill flower pot holes or small holes in the ground 🤔 this isent a cement hammer drill bit lol

Then they should use a regular drill shank.

Why the 3/8 which is used in either an impact wrench or a rachet?

I'll have to try the Auger bit idea, sounds like that might be fun.

Also soil is HARD and often rocky here in Utah.
