Andy Capp's Hot Fries are a crunchy, spicy snack with a Cheetos-like texture and no artificial colors. The flavor lands as nostalgic and satisfying for some, though others describe it as meh, stale, or tasting like plastic, with a few saying the quality is not what it used to be. The deal itself draws pushback because the per ounce price looks worse than other options, and the coupon was not always available. A decent nostalgic snack if the flavor and price work for you.
The fries are described as spicy and they are said to have no artificial colors.
The fries are described as crunchy with a coating that can still be enjoyable for some eaters.
The fries are described as having a crunchy Cheeto-like consistency and a flavor that is only mildly disappointing.
The fries are criticized for having a plastic-like consistency and an unpleasant coating taste.
The deal value is questioned because the coupon could not be replicated and per-ounce pricing looks worse than a 12-pack option.
The fries are criticized for taste decline over time, with past versions described as much better.
The fries are criticized as a terrible deal compared with a $3.21 Walmart alternative.
