Thanks for the heads up. I had purchased the ARCTIC P12 Pro PST - 5 Pack [amazon.com] during Prime Day at $27.49 and now they're currently on sale, sitting at $18.09 so I'm probably going to do a return and buy it again at the current sale price so I can get refunded for the difference since my return window is still open and I don't have an immediate use for them. This is a good price for a solid fan.

These PST ones cost less and are better, because they have the built in daisy chain.

so i see 4 threads started by phoinix with 5-pack arctic fans

1 is specifically for 140 mm fans. the other 3 threads including this one are for 120 mm fans.

price are $17.29, $19.59, $18.10 and 140mm are $22.29.

which is considered best bang for your buck?

The one that fits your case?

I honestly don't know, but think 120mm is pretty safe size. However, larger is probably better for noise. I'm wondering about noise and size myself.

18.10 are PWM, PST, high RPM fans. Most people find this fan to be loud at high RPM; you can combat this by setting custom fan curve in BIOS, however, it moves a ton of air, and perhaps unnecessarily so for an average build.

17.29 are the same as above except low noise version. Fan curve from the factory is capped at 2000 instead of 3000 RPM so you don't have to tweak fan curve manually.

19.59 are same as 17.29 except without PST. PST basically allows you to daisy chain fans together. No reason to get this when 17.29 is cheaper with more features obviously

22.29 is the 140mm version of 18.10. RPMs are a little lower but same complaints of it being loud. Also has PWM and PST and all

If you can fit some 140mm I would try to get them in there. They are a bit better but it's not a crazy difference, no need to over think it. For radiator a 280mm is 30 ish percent more effective at cooling over a 240, so if that's what you are using it for I would go for the larger fan sizes.

yeah, I got a 360mm AiO already, and the case has 4 nidec fans, but they're loud (came with my seasonic Q704). I heard those are louder than normal nidec fans, and that the PST LN version of these fans should have better noise at cost of air flow, but I'm not sure I need that much air flow. I need quiet box as it drives me nuts.
