This DoorDash Best Buy promo is mainly useful for stacking on already discounted items, especially small appliances, LEGO sets, chargers, toner, and other baskets that can clear the $100 threshold. The strongest examples brought the total down well below retail, and Chase DashPass benefits or DoorDash credits made the math even better. The main drag is fees and tips, which can erase much of the $30 savings, and Best Buy pricing on DoorDash can run higher than in store. Pickup is not available, returns can be awkward, and some accounts were not eligible or saw the discount pulled early.

  • The $30 off $100 promo can stack with other DoorDash and Chase benefits to lower the out-the-door total.

  • Some specific items can land at strong prices when the promo is combined with existing coupon discounts.

  • The promo can work well when building a cart around a $100 threshold with add-ons.

  • Delivery orders can still come out cheaper than pickup when small appliances are already discounted in Best Buy.

  • DoorDash support escalation can sometimes restore a missing $30 discount back to the payment method.

  • Tip and delivery fees can erase much of the $30 discount, making the deal close to a wash.

  • The promotion can fail due to eligibility errors or the merchant pulling the discount before expiration.

  • Best Buy inventory on DoorDash can be limited, with only a small number of items showing and searches returning no results.

  • Best Buy returns can be difficult when purchasing through DoorDash, and store employees may be unhelpful.

  • Out-of-stock items can cause the $30 off $100 discount to disappear after refunds.

Seems like an ok deal but best buy is overpriced as it is. Hard to find anything worthwhile.

You guys must tip a lot. Here in California DoorDash drivers are paid hourly at least minimum wage and do not rely on tips. Therefore I do not tip in California.

For those complaining about the wage or wear and tear on their vehicles, Doordash and the drivers can negotiate better wages and DoorDash in turn can charge higher fees if they feel they need to. I am fine paying a higher upfront fee but it's not the customers job to factor in the cost of doing business

i read the same for the other blue state that contains NYC the delivery sector gets actual wages, then they got another addional increase of their wages (i think the prior mayor blocked this additional wage bump but was actually overruled ) maybe within the same year, all to which these delivery companies in turn require u the user to contribute a minimum fee into them to help pay these minimum salaries.

Can you order for pickup to avoid the tip? Service fee for DP members is only $3.99.
Pickup is not even a option

Bullshit that you're spending $30 in fees on an order like this.

Corporations have been getting rich taking advantage of the labor class. This isn't new.

The latest thing is probably College sports video games. Where Madden even though you pay for the game. Can pay more money just to improve your athlete and make them better. Sports games have been making money off players and they didn't have to pay royalties for YEARS. Just a chance to be on the cover of the game.

With the chase benefit and TX tax and the suggested tip, it would be $186, so it saves $25 basically.

Im in the market for a logitech keys mini... it's $89.99. I had a usb-c cable that is $11.99 to hit $100. It comes out to $82.65. I think I prefer buying the refurb from logitech for $55.

I saw it working in my cart earlier. Now the coupon code has gone missing and I'm getting the same.

I was able to escalate in chat to a supervisor who had me place the order and then they credited $30 back to my payment method. Needed to show them the calendar of discounts for the summer dashpass promo and show them the promo when I saw in my cart. Luckily I screenshotted it all.

Also got $20 credit on DoorDash for hassle.

Initial chat person lied and said it expired since it was 7/15 already. Then after I showed them my date and timestamp on phone, they then insisted account wasn't eligible but couldn't tell me what requirement I didn't meet.

Just keep pushing if you really want to get it. I had to rip the agents bs reasons to shreds before they did it.
