This is a long rechargeable LED flashlight that stands out for being very bright for about $10 and handy for car, shop, or night walking use. The USB C charging and removable battery setup are practical, and the larger body mainly seems to buy longer run time rather than a dramatically stronger beam. The main caveats are the wildly inflated 90,000 lumen claim, confusing battery information, and reports that some units arrive dead or with non removable batteries. A decent low cost light if you want size and runtime more than premium specs.

  • Tinkerers who want removable batteries, because the cells can be taken out and replaced after years of use.

  • Night walkers wanting a very bright carry light, because it is bright enough for dog walks and still feels worthwhile around $10.

  • Drivers needing a glovebox flashlight, because it fits a door pocket, recharges by USB-C, and is bright enough for roadside use.

  • Shoppers who want a long defensive-style flashlight, because the extended body is specifically called out as useful when that form factor matters.

  • Buyers expecting true 90,000-lumen output, because the light is repeatedly described as far dimmer than the listing claims.

  • People who need a pocketable everyday carry light, because the long body is awkward to carry and a smaller light gives similar brightness.

  • Shoppers who need a sealed, swappable-battery design, because the battery setup is contradictory and may be non-removable or vary by version.

  • Outdoor users who need weather resistance, because zoomable lights can let dust and moisture reach the internals.

Decent price for an updated Maglite
Not even close to MagLite quality. Zoomable lights are impossible to weatherproof. Dust and moisture will find their way in, and ultimately destroy the internals.

I've had nothing but great luck with these chines lights. I go walking pretty regularly and use the smaller versions. Every time i go walking with a new person, they ask me and eventually purchase the cheapo chinese lights for their performance. Yea it wont be 90k lumens like it says, but it will be Hella powerful and brighter than prob any light you came across. If you are not using it for some heavy duty/work...this this will still be overkill....no brainer at this price...this is coming from someone who is all about the high end tools and high end guns

Amazon Rufus says that the battery is non-removable /not swapable – that's a deal killer for me
The rear cap unscrews, showing the battery in the Amazon photos.

You are correct sir! It appears depending on which version you get it may use 2 separate 26650's and a pair that are wrapped in together. When asking Amazon to clarify:

You're right to question this — I apologize for the earlier incorrect information. Looking more carefully at the product listing for the Tughlax Rechargeable Flashlight, the listing itself is actually contradictory and confusing:
  • The bullet points and product description say it has a "Built-in Rechargeable Battery Pack" and lists "1x Rechargeable Battery Pack (Built in)" in the box contents
  • The product attributes list "2 AAA batteries required (included)"
  • The product videos you've seen apparently show people removing 2 x 26650 batteries
The product listing has inconsistent information, and the videos showing removable 26650 batteries may well be more accurate than the text description. This is a listing quality issue — the seller's written description doesn't match what the product actually appears to be.

I've seen contradictory videos and reviews concerning what size battery it uses. I think it's a crapshoot! But, apparently, it is removeable whatever it is.

Able to place order for two flashlights, but had to order them separately. Thanks OP. Just what I needed -- another two flashlights.

If this light is really just 1,000 lumens as a bunch of reviewers are saying, you can get a light half or even a third of this size with 1,000 lumen. No need to carry around this long stick.

In case it isn't obvious to some people, please know that the photos used in this listing are not anywhere even close to accurate for this light. The seller either used a different flashlight for the photos, or is using manipulated images.

Also, this light claims to have 90,000 lumens, which is scientifically impossible for a light this size. Certain lights in this size range might be able to reach 10% of that figure, but that would require high quality (expensive) components -- which would push the retail price into the $50-$200 range. (See: Weltool, Acebeam, Imalent, Olight.)

So, please adjust your expectations on the output of this light. It will not perform the way the photos or seller listing say it will.
I think I have the same light (older version without the LCD display but otherwise looks the same). Different brand name "CS Force" however very similar description (per my Amazon order history) "Rechargeable Tactical Flashlights High Lumens 90000 Lumens Super Bright"...blah blah blah.

Clearly 90K lumens is absurd, no need for that dead horse to be beat in every post. Almost every TV sold in the last 20 years has a "scientifically impossible" contrast ratio claim but we let that slide when Samsung does it Wink

FWIW, the #2 photo on the Amazon listing of this light is very real world compared to my flashlight.

IMO, $10 for this light is a great buy if you can deal with the rather large size. Especially since this charges via USB C it is very easy to keep RTG no matter where you are. *I don't think my flashlight likes my Samsung S25 chargers, so you might need a lower wattage USB C charger. I'm use to that though since I have a number of devices that refuse to charge via those chargers or my Steam Deck charger.

Edit: my light has removeable 26650 batteries which I did have to replace after 2-3 years. Worth mentioning since a few of people seem to be questioning the 'contradictory' battery info from Amazon / Rufus. (Rufus is an idiot and should never be quoted...ever)

The 2 for $16 is a smaller version of this listing, which I purchased when on SD a few weeks back. I think they are a bargain and I suspect the larger version is similar in that you can hardly purchase the batteries for what they're asking for the whole flashlight.

The Tughlax smaller flashlights which were this site at three or $15 were a great deal. They had an actual 18650 battery and were an excellent rechargeable and handy flashlight.. Some of these Chinese flashlights are lightweight and have a miniscule battery made into them - not worth it. I don't know this unit, but if it does not have removable 18650 Lithium batteries, it is probably not worth it.
I agree with everything above and also purchased the smaller versions and have been happy. I'm fairly certain the battery(s) in this larger version are removeable, the particular size and configuration seem to vary, but should still be a decent investment/gamble. I'm in for one

I received mine today and it's pretty nice and bright for the price, I usually buy these cheap Chinese lights to throw around the shop and this one by far is the best one but I guess that code is only a one time use.
