In case it isn't obvious to some people, please know that the photos used in this listing are not anywhere even close to accurate for this light. The seller either used a different flashlight for the photos, or is using manipulated images.

Also, this light claims to have 90,000 lumens, which is scientifically impossible for a light this size. Certain lights in this size range might be able to reach 10% of that figure, but that would require high quality (expensive) components -- which would push the retail price into the $50-$200 range. (See: Weltool, Acebeam, Imalent, Olight.)

So, please adjust your expectations on the output of this light. It will not perform the way the photos or seller listing say it will.

reviewer: "Not quite the advertised 90,000 lumen brightness. More like 1000. It is bright, but not that bright."

And seeing it compared to other lights in those pics, yeah 1000 lumens sounds about right.

All of these "10 BILLION lumens!!!!" claims on crappy chinesium lights is hilarious(ly sad).

This is a long rechargeable LED flashlight that stands out for being very bright for about $10 and handy for car, shop, or night walking use. The USB C charging and removable battery setup are practical, and the larger body mainly seems to buy longer run time rather than a dramatically stronger beam. The main caveats are the wildly inflated 90,000 lumen claim, confusing battery information, and reports that some units arrive dead or with non removable batteries. A decent low cost light if you want size and runtime more than premium specs.

  • The listing photos and 90,000-lumen specification can be misleading and scientifically implausible for the light's size.

  • Battery configuration information can be contradictory, creating a crapshoot between built-in packs and removable 26650 setups.

    FairGoat3537FairGoat3537

  • The flashlight can be non-weatherproof, letting dust and moisture damage internal components.

    Tico22Tico22

  • Some units can arrive dead or not working, which prevents immediate use.

I had it delivered today, charged it and tried it out tonight. It's pretty bright for $10 and had some neat features like SOS. I wouldn't pay $40 for it.

This arrived the other day.

It's a GREAT car flashlight.

Nice size, super bright and able to recharge with the C type USB.

Fits perfect in door pocket and can easily double as a billy club.

For $10, I feel like I stole it.

whoa whoa what mini USB? Do you not know which USBs are what or are they literally using 3 generation of USB old tech? Micro i could half understand but mini? that should be a federal crime.

The flat Rechoo flashlight has a magnetic base and a light on its flat side which might fit your requirement. It was recently features as a SD sale a couple months ago.

Here's another recent deal on a similar small flat flashlight with a side light and a magnetic base.

On the other hand, if you're looking for a cylindrical flashlight with a side light, I managed to pick up this one from SD deal last April for around $12 after a coupon code.

One of the Amazon reviews say that it's close to probably 1000 lumens. I have still ordered one for it's battery capacity for an upcoming trip...

It's not 90,000 lumens but sure is brighter than those small ones.

Finally received the 2 Tughlax flashlights today. Boy, these flashlights are long and skinny. Unfortunately, I also bought them last week before today's new SD deal that featured a 2 flashlight pack for $18. So I paid $9.65 for each of them before tax. However, I also decided to compare them to my smaller $5 Tughlax flashlights that I got last month. While these new flashlights are considerably longer with a slightly larger LED lamp, I found their actual illumination only slightly brighter than the smaller $5 Tughlax flashlights. So unless you are looking for a long, defensive flashlight, I think the smaller flashlight will be a better buy for most and will certainly fit in your pocket a bit easier. The 3 pack is still available for those interested:

IMO definitely worth the $10. Very bright beam pattern for the money. Will use while walking the dog at night and can use as a billy club if needed or to blind to stupid golf cart people who think they own the trails.
