It's kind of funny. The only pain relief you get from using this is from the massage of applying it. There is no scientific evidence showing any benefit from this other then a single study of its use in dermatology. It did show promise in relieving topical inflammation. Like around your eyes etc. But that is still not proven. So just like Ben Gay or Icy Hot etc etc. The only relief you receive from them is the stimulation of the largest organ on your body your epidermis. It distracts your brains focus from the other pain to the stimulation on the skin so the pain doesn't go away it just isn't the brains focus for a period of time.
